book reveals the secret life of the badger revealed through accounts and photographs
of its nightly habits and yearly cycle.

If it is ever possible to take "perfect" photographs of any wild
mammal, then these two (John Darbyshire and Laurie Campbell) have done so.
Excellent writing, but the book is worth it just for the pictures alone!
