Perfect Plant Perfect Place? by
Roy Lancaster Review This title lists readily available
plants, including houseplants and trees. It includes detailed information on
where to plant, both inside and outside.
Review Perfect Book Perfect Read! If you're one of those gardeners who wish they knew
what plant to buy to fill that specific spot, or have a certain soil type but
are unsure what plants will suit it, then this is THE book to have. It's not a
"how to garden", more of a "what to garden" encyclopaedia, with plants divided
into groups according to location, habit, appearance, basically every different
growing condition you may come across. Simply look up the criteria you wish and
find the plants that thrive in it. It's straight forward and exceptionally easy
to follow. My copy is already well-thumbed!

What Plant Where? by
Roy Lancaster Review A practical planner for all gardeners,
"What Plant Where" leads you quickly and clearly to the plants that will grow
well in your particular garden. The five chapters on perennials, climbers,
shrubs, conifers and trees provide lists of plants for every conceivable site:
large border, shady walls, raised beds, rockeries and water gardens. Each plant
recommendation is illustrated with a full-colour portrait photograph, supported
by all the information needed to guarantee the right choice.
Review An excellent reference book to keep! This book is excellent and has everything you want to
know about the plants themselves, where and how to plant right down to whether
they are hardy and how large they grow etc. This book is one of those books that
you will keep on your shelf for years to come, always referring back to. It has a
good index and has colour photograph pictures throughout.
